Discover the Caucasus Highlands skidding along ridges

Georgia is a perfect destination for mountain bike lovers. It promises to amaze not just the beginners but also experienced riders. A mountain bike’s size, speed, practicality and robustness allow to enjoy bike adventure in different parts of Georgia, crossing alpine grasslands, picturesque mountain passes and impressive river valleys, visiting remote villages, and historical, cultural, architectural monuments.

  • Day 1:

    Arrival in Tbilisi; met and assisted at the airport.

  • Day 2:

    Tbilisi - Bakuriani; drive to Tsalka village located on Javakheti plateau. Ride over the picturesque Tskhratskaro pass to Bakuriani resort. (80 km. elevation 900 m. up/ 750 m. down)

  • Day 3:

    Bakuriani – Akhaltsikhe; drive to Borjomi resort and proceed to Akhaltsikhe town along the Mtkvari river valley. (70 km. elevation 200m. up/300m. down)

  • Day 4:

    Akhaltsikhe - Zekari pass – Kutaisi; drive and ride over picturesque Zekari pass, impressive with its unique nature and variety of endemic plants. The day ends in Kutaisi, the capital of legendary Colchis. (80 km. elevation 80m. up / 2030m. down)

  • Day 5:

    Kutaisi – Zugdidi - Mazeri; drive to Zugdidi town and ride up along the Enguri river Gorge to inaccessible mountais of Svaneti region. (125 km. elevation 600m. up / 0m. down)

  • Day 6:

    Mazeri - Mestia; morning cycling around the Becho valley; ride to Mestia, administrative center of Svaneti region. (25 km. elevation 770m. up / 0m. down)

  • Day 7:

    Mestia – Ushguli; full day ride over Ugviri pass. Enjoy impressive views of two peaked mount Ushba and remote villages with unique tower architecture. The day ends in Ushguli (UNESCO site), the highest inhabited village in Europe. (48 km. elevation 730m. up / 65m. down)

  • Day 8:

    Ushguli – Lentekhi; cycling over Zagaro pass to Lentekhi, one of the most beautiful towns of mountainous region Racha - Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti. (75 km. elevation 425m. up / 1099m. down)

  • Day 9:

    Lentekhi – Tskhaltubo; From Lentekhi, ride to Tskhaltubo. (90 km. elevation 0 m. up / 1355 m. down). Aftternoon visit to Tskhaltobo Spaleological cave.

  • Day 10:

    Tskhaltubo – Kutaisi – Mtskheta - Tbilisi; explore Kutaisi, the second biggest city of the country; en route to Tbilisi visit Mtsketa (UNESCO site), the former capital and religious center of the country.

  • Day 11:

    Full day Tbilisi sightseeing tour; visit a town with centuries old history, walk in its twisty streets and market squares.

  • Day 12:

    Departure; transfer to the airport.
